The ways into your account, and using more than one account
Ways to sign in
You can sign in with your email address and password, with a passkey, or with Google. Add or remove them under Account → Security → Sign-in methods. Keep at least one you can always use.
A passkey signs you in with your device’s fingerprint, face or screen lock instead of a password. It can’t be phished, and it already counts as two-step verification.
More than one account
To use another account in the same browser, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Add account. Switch between them from the same menu.
Signing out
Sign out from the account menu. It signs out of every account in this browser.
To sign out somewhere else, such as a computer at work, open Account → Security → Devices and sign that device out, or sign out of every other device at once.
